Osito von Ochtrup is a stunning 2 year old long haired German Shepherd. He is a big, goofy guy, licking your hand and rubbing on you so you can pet him all over, he is charming and charismatic.  At the rescue, Osito anticipates his outings with delight, he seems to meet new people well and engages with a variety of  volunteers, walks well on leash and enjoys making new canine acquaintances. It is hard for a big guy like Osito to be stuck in a kennel, he might get excited when he first comes out for a walk but with a little reminder he settles right down and is easy on the leash. Like the sharp cookie he is, he picked up the “Sit” and “Paw” commands on the fly, is ready to learn tons more and is a perfect gentleman when reminded to take treats gently.  He did well in the play yard -- he went in comfortably, seemed happy to be there and enjoyed exploring the yard.  So, Osito in a nutshell: gorgeous, smart, engaging, and so ready for his forever home!!
